Welcome to the Self-build website of Philip and Joan, This site follows the construction of a four bedroom Bungalow that is under construction in the west of Ireland near Athlone. The majority of the work is being carried out single-handed!   A view of the site before we started. The same location September 2008 We started September 2004 and moved in on the 11th May 2007 Latest News, Construction of the garage is almost complete, I have installed the solar panels and ancillary plumbing.
